For immediate release. Seattle Hall Pass podcast bids farewell. Seattle Washington. November 16, 2024. 

After an incredible journey filled with engaging conversations, unique perspectives, and plenty of laughter, Christie Robertson and Jane Tunks Demel have decided to end the Seattle Hall Pass podcast, citing creative differences. 

Over the course of its run, Seattle Hall Pass became a platform for thought-provoking dialogue on Seattle Public Schools, garnering a loyal following of listeners who joined in for every episode. “We've had an amazing time building this podcast together,” said Christie Robertson. “While this decision wasn't easy. It's the right step for both of us. As we move in different directions.” 

Jane Tunks Demel added “The memories we've created and the conversations we've shared will always hold a special place in our hearts. We are so grateful for everyone who listened in and supported us along the way.”

Though Seattle Hall Passes coming to an end. This isn't goodbye. Christie and Jasmine Pulido, will be continuing to cover Seattle Public Schools goings on under a new name in the coming weeks, so stay tuned. Follow Jane at janedemel.bsky.social, where she'll share updates on her future projects.

All 60 episodes of Seattle Hall Pass will continue to be available on streaming platforms, offering a heartfelt reflection on their journey and a celebration of the podcast's legacy. Thank you for being part of this incredible ride. Here's to new adventures.
